Town of Milton Asks: What Are You Doing this March Break

The Town of Milton has announced the closure of its facilities including the Leisure Centre as part of the response to COVID-19

Milton is an ideal stay-cation destination this March Break with a variety of activities to keep the whole family busy and active.

“Town facilities offer a variety of recreation activities for families to be active and engaged this March Break,” said Kristene Scott, Commissioner of Community Services. “We are excited to offer opportunities for families enjoying a staycation with family and friends.”

Keep the kids active with drop-in programs such as skating, sports and fitness, or take a free dip in the pool at one of the Tim Horton’s sponsored all ages swims. Grab your gear and come to a recreation centre to participate in some family, adult and youth drop in sports. Enjoy games of basketball, badminton, pickleball, floor hockey, soccer and more! For parents still looking for a last minute child-care option, we still have space available in our week-long Cycling Camp, Kinder Camp and Sew Cool Camp. To register for camps visit their website.

With so many options, it’s clear that Milton is a great staycation destination. For details and a full schedule of activities visit the website.
