Halton Healthcare is delighted to announce the appointment of Adrienne Spafford as the organization’s new Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships. With her extensive background and wealth of experience, Adrienne Spafford is set to take on this pivotal role, effective November 20, 2023.
Adrienne Spafford brings to Halton Healthcare an impressive track record in strategic communications, stakeholder relations, policy development, and strategy implementation, accumulated over more than two decades. Her career has encompassed roles of significance within various prominent organizations, including the Ministry of Health, the Premier’s Office, Infrastructure Ontario, the Ontario Long-Term Care Association, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and her most recent position as Vice President of Ontario Health Teams Strategy & Policy at Ontario Health. She also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Addictions and Mental Health Ontario.
“Adrienne is the right person to lead in this new role. She has a proven track record in fostering meaningful connections with community members, health system partners, and team members,” remarked Halton Healthcare President & CEO, Melissa Farrell. “She is also widely known as a values-based leader who is focused on developing and implementing meaningful strategies that improve patient care.”
Farrell further emphasized the significance of Spafford’s appointment, particularly during this exciting phase of Halton Healthcare’s journey, where the organization is dedicated to strengthening community partnerships and enhancing programs and services.
