Award Winning Ian Thomas to perform at the Milton Centre for the Arts

The Milton Centre for the Arts is proud to present JUNO Award winning singer-songwriter Ian Thomas in support of Ian Thomas A Life in Song.  A ‘Life in Song’ looks back on a hit-heavy catalogue spanning an impressive 45 year career, all dramatically reinterpreted and recorded for a full symphony orchestra.

Hosted by Cameron Smillie, this performance will take audiences on an up-close and personal journey, exploring his career through video, photos, readings, an interview segment, an audience question and answer period, as well and a few songs along the way.  Following the performance fans will be invited for a personal meet and greet.

Ian Thomas first entered the music scene with his international hit song, Painted Ladies in 1973 and has received several awards for his work over the years with 15 albums to his name and several top 20 records. Ian’s lyrics have been referenced in English textbooks, and his songs have been performed by such international artists as Santana, America, Chicago, Bette Midler and more.

Tickets for Ian Thomas, A Life in Song are available at miltoncentreforthearts.ca. The adult ticket cost is $25, and student/senior ticket cost is $23. High school students can take advantage of the eyeGO to the Arts program, which provides a limited number of discounted tickets at $5.
