The Georgetown Lions Club and St. George’s Anglican Church are teaming up once again to bring Santa Claus to town with the annual Breakfast with Santa fundraiser.

Now in its third year, the popular holiday event sold out both sittings in 2024, and organizers expect a similar turnout this year on Dec. 13.

Families will have the chance to enjoy breakfast with Santa and snap photos with him throughout the morning.

Two sittings will be available, with the first at 9 a.m. and the second at 10:30 a.m., both at 60 Guelph St. in Georgetown.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children and are free for children under the age of three.

Tickets can be purchased online.

All proceeds will support Halton Women’s Place and the Georgetown Bread Basket Food Bank.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring non-perishable food items, noting that community needs are “greater than ever” this year.

Cash and credit card donations will also be accepted at the venue.

In a joint statement, St. George’s Anglican Church Rev. Cheryl Barker and Georgetown Lions Club president John Fini said the partnership between the church and the Lions Club continues to strengthen.

“This is the third year that the church and lions have worked together to bring in much-needed funds for worthy organizations at Christmas,” they said. “Volunteers from the church and Lions have worked in harmony and enjoy the close working relationship between us.”

Santa Claus will be on hand throughout both sittings to greet families and pose for photos.

Guests are asked to bring their own device for pictures.
