Linnea Cain of Campbellville is celebrating a life-changing moment after clinching a $1 million prize in the Gold Ball Draw of the LOTTO 6/49.
With her win, Linnea, who works in sales, feels she can now “find her possible.” Having played the lottery since turning 18, Linnea’s persistence finally paid off. “I play regular numbers on LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49,” she revealed, expressing her long-held belief in a big win. Upon discovering her victory, Linnea excitedly shared, “I didn’t have my glasses on so I took a screenshot and zoomed in on the zeroes. I gasped!” Her husband confirmed the incredible news, prompting celebrations with a hug and a high-five.
While planning to share her windfall with family and create lasting memories, Linnea also intends to secure a portion for the future. Reflecting on her win, she remarked, “This win is a humbling experience and a huge blessing. I’m so grateful for this win and what it means for my family.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Main Street in Campbellville, adding to the local excitement. LOTTO 6/49 allows players to win multi-million dollar jackpots twice a week, with options for both fixed and variable jackpot amounts.
