Easter weekend closures and openings in Milton and Halton

By: Laura Steiner, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter, The Milton Reporter

Holiday closures across Halton will begin on Friday, April 18, for Good Friday, followed by Easter Sunday on April 20. While Saturday, April 19, will see most services resume as normal, many closures are expected again on Sunday. By Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday), most businesses will reopen, though many government offices and services will remain closed.

Some Town of Oakville facilities will open during the long weekend to accommodate advance voting for the federal election, even as front desks and regular services remain closed. The public is encouraged to use the Online Services portal to report issues or request services. Urgent matters related to roads, traffic lights, parks or storms can be reported by calling 905-845-6601.
