A public meeting on Monday March 9 at 6 p.m. will discuss a proposal seeking to convert two existing structures at 530 Guelph St. into a multi-use conference centre and a restaurant.

To move forward, the applicant is seeking an official plan amendment and a zoning bylaw amendment.

For more information on the conference centre proposal, residents can contact John McMulkin at 365-355-5367 or by email at jmcmulkin@haltonhills.ca.

Members of the public who wish to speak as a delegation must preregister by 6 p.m. on March 9. Registration can be completed by emailing clerks@haltonhills.ca or by filling out a registration card at town hall (1 Halton Hills Dr., Georgetown).

On March 30, a public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. for a proposal seeking a zoning bylaw amendment for the development of a gas station at 9989 Trafalgar Rd.

The applicant is also seeking to construct an accessory retail convenience store and car wash on the site.
