The Town of Halton Hills is calling on residents to help refine the design for the upcoming Tolton Park in Limehouse.
Following an initial round of public consultation, which garnered over 90 responses through an online survey, a public open house and direct contact with town staff, the municipality has identified a natural design as the preferred concept for the new green space.
Residents are invited to provide specific feedback on trail layout, playground equipment preferences and options for shade and gathering spaces through an online survey.
The 2.3-acre park will be situated at 22 Side Road, directly across from Limehouse Public School.
The proposed concept features a limestone screenings path winding through the site, flanked by a large open lawn.
Planned amenities focus on nature-inspired play, including rope climbers, large boulders, wooden elements and a hill slide.
The design also incorporates outdoor fitness equipment and extensive tree planting to provide shade along the pathways.
The survey is available on the Let’s Talk Halton Hills website until Jan. 12, 2026.
