Halton Residents 50 years of age and older, who cannot work from home will be able to book their COVID-19 Vaccine effective May 3, 2021.
“We are pleased to be able to offer more appointments to priority populations,” Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr said. The move follows the provincial guidelines on prioritization.
Appointments this week are also open to the following groups:
- As of April 26, 2021: Pregnant women living in Halton are now allowed to book their appointments at a mass vaccination site.
- As of April 30: Residents 16 years and of over, living in the postal code L9E will be allowed to book appointments. L9E has been identified as one of the province’s hotspots due to ongoing high positivity rates.
All appointments are to be booked online at one of six clinics throughout Halton including one at the FirstOntario Centre for the Arts’ Milton. Appointments are subject to change based on vaccine availability.
Halton reported an increase of 135 cases yesterday. Milton recorded 39 more cases, with 14 of them coming from the 40-59 age group.
