Halton Police swiftly responded to an armed robbery at a pharmacy in the Westoak Trails and Bronte Road area of Oakville, leading to the apprehension of all involved parties.
The incident unfolded when four masked male suspects entered the pharmacy, brandishing a handgun and assaulting two female employees. Following the assault, the suspects successfully fled the scene with a quantity of narcotics and an undisclosed sum of cash.
Law enforcement officers quickly located the vehicle and occupants involved in the crime. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, a pursuit ensued as the suspects attempted to evade arrest.
The pursuit covered a short distance before police successfully apprehended all individuals involved. Among those arrested, three youths aged 14 to 16 years and one adult, aged 18, now face charges related to robbery, weapons possession, and driving offences.
