Halton Police Arrest Suspect and Uncover Significant Drug Seizure

In a successful operation led by the 1 District Street Crime team, the Halton Police have apprehended a suspect and seized a substantial quantity of drugs. The arrest occurred in Mississauga, where 43-year-old Robert Czarnowski, a resident of Mississauga, was taken into custody.

Following the arrest, investigators executed search warrants at two locations in Mississauga and Oakville.

The searches yielded a significant haul of illicit substances, including approximately 2 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of cannabis resin, 3 kilograms of illegal cannabis, hundreds of oxycodone pills, and 7 grams of methamphetamine. In addition to the narcotics, the police confiscated $150,000 in cash and various items associated with drug trafficking.

Robert Czarnowski is now facing charges, including possession of a controlled substance for trafficking (3 counts) and possession of cannabis for distribution. He has been remanded in custody pending a bail hearing.
