Halton Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Jewelry Store Robbery Suspect

The Halton Police are reaching out to the public to seek assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for the robbery of a jewelry store located in Burlington Mall.

The incident occurred on October 12, 2023, around 5:20 pm, when the suspect entered Griffin Jewellery Designs and expressed interest in viewing some rings. While holding an expensive engagement ring, the suspect informed an employee that individuals outside the store were armed. Seizing the opportunity, the suspect left the store with the engagement ring, valued at approximately $40,000.

The male suspect is described as being around 30 years old, standing over 6 feet tall, with a fit build. He was clean-shaven, with dark brown hair and light brown eyes. The suspect wore black shoes, black Adidas pants, a black jacket, a black t-shirt, and dark-tinted aviator-style sunglasses. Notably, he displayed multiple light-coloured scars on both hands.
