Halton Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects

The Halton Police are contacting the public for assistance in identifying three individuals behind a series of break-ins in Oakville. These incidents are part of a recent spate of similar burglaries that have left homeowners on edge.

In recent weeks, Oakville has been plagued by a surge in break-ins characterized by a specific modus operandi. The culprits have been targeting homes that back onto lush green spaces, gaining entry by smashing the rear sliding glass doors. Valuables, including jewelry, high-end clothing, and cash, have been reported stolen during these brazen daytime and evening heists, all while homeowners are absent.

Here are the descriptions of the suspects involved:

Suspect #1: A male in his 30s, standing approximately 5’8″ with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing black pants, an orange long-sleeve shirt, black shoes, a blue baseball hat, and distinctive orange gloves.

Suspect #2: A male in his 20s, about 5’10” tall, with a medium build, clean-shaven, and short black hair. He was captured on surveillance footage wearing black shorts with a white and red logo, a grey t-shirt bearing a large “True Rlgn” logo on the back, black shoes with white soles, and blue surgical gloves.

Suspect #3: A male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6’0″ tall, with a medium build, a scruffy beard, and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, grey jogging pants, a dark baseball hat and dark gloves. He was carrying a distinctive black Helly Hansen duffle bag.

Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to the Halton Police.
