HDCSB Chooses Rabenda as 2016-17 Chair

The Halton Catholic District School Board held its annual election of the  Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board on Tuesday December, 6, 2016.  Milton Trustee Diane Rabenda was elected to be the new Chair, and Burlington Trustee for Wards 4 & 5, Susan Trites was elected as Vice-Chair of the Board. “Thank you for this great privilege to serve as Chair of the Board for the next term. I look forward to working with each of you over the next year, as we continue our collective mission to defend and protect the interests of our students and further the mission of Catholic education in Halton,” Board Chair Nancy Rabenda said.  “I look forward to working closely with the Chair of the Board, and my fellow Trustees,” Trites added.

The term for the Chair and Vice-Chair is for a period of one year, commencing the first Board Meeting in December.  The Board of Trustees meets on the first, and third Tuesday of every month.  Their next meeting is December 20, 2016 at the Catholic Education Centre located at: 802 Drury Lane, Burlington.  The agenda will include a vote on the sustainability of  Early French Immersion Program.
