With Halloween creeping closer, it can only mean one thing: it’s time to put on the spookiest of costumes and prepare for a month full of tricks and treats.
As jack-o’-lanterns begin lighting up doorsteps and cobwebs cling to front porches, the Town of Halton Hills is ready to bring the community the spirit of the season with a lineup of thrilling events. From festive parades to vibrant pumpkin patches, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s a frightful rundown of what’s happening in town if you’re looking for a load of spine-tingling fun!
Bike It Costume Bike Parade
Ready, set, ghoul! Residents are encouraged to pull out their spooktacular costumes for the town’s first-ever Costume Bike Parade. Join the fun as cyclists of all ages ride through the park, bringing together their Halloween spirit. The best costumes will take home prizes ranging from Halloween-themed treats, a giant pumpkin courtesy of Allison’s Farm Market or an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.

Thanksgiving Weekend Pumpkinfest
This Thanksgiving weekend, the community is invited to enjoy the day at Pumpkinfest, filled with live music, craft and food vendors, and a variety of activities like hayrides. Explore the pumpkin patch and the corn maze and visit the petting zoo. There’s something for everyone to celebrate the season!

Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Andrews Farm Market and Winery
Spooks and Spells Market
Join the community at the Spooks & Spells Halloween Vendor Market and have a chance to browse through local vendors, eat from delicious food trucks and enjoy family-friendly activities like pumpkin picking and live music. The event will be fundraising and accepting monetary donations for Childhood Cancer Canada.

Coldwell Banker Escarpment’s Annual Pumpkin Giveaway
Residents are invited to participate in the Annual Ghost Walk in downtown Acton and take part in the pumpkin giveaway. With Halloween spirits in full swing at the town hall centre for this event, community members will be in for a day filled with fun festivities!

Night of Trick or Treat at Bennett Centre
All little ghouls, witches, vampires and superheroes are welcome to join in for an evening filled with treats and spooky fun with trick or treating at Bennett Centre.

Fall Pumpkinfest
The Fall Pumpkinfest invites residents in for a day of fun full of games, food and music. While entry is free, residents are kindly requested to bring a donation item for the Georgetown Bread Basket.
