Here’s what’s open and closed on Family Day in Halton Hills

Family Day is on Monday, Feb. 16, and, along with the town hosting activities, some services will be closed for the day.

 

Here’s what’s open and closed around Halton Hills.

 

Shopping malls

 

Toronto Premium Outlets will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

The Georgetown Market Place will be closed.

 

The Beer Store

 

The Beer Store located at 236 Guelph St. will be closed.

 

LCBO

 

The LCBO located at 236 Guelph St. and 365 Mountainview Rd. S. will be closed.

 

Town hall

 

Town hall will be closed.

 

Arenas and pools

 

The Mold-Masters SportsPlex, Acton Arena, Gellert Community Centre and Acton Lion’s Indoor Pool will all be open on Family Day. Free skates and free swims are available at the venues. The full schedule can be viewed on the town’s website.

 

ActiVan

 

ActiVan will not be running. Taxis will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

 

Halton Hills Public Library and Culture Centre

 

The Acton and Georgetown branches of the Halton Hills Public Library will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Visit the library’s website for the full schedule of activities.

 

Active living centres

 

Both the Acton and Georgetown locations will be closed.

 

Youth centres

 

Both the Acton and Georgetown locations will be closed.

 

Fire department headquarters

 

The administration will be closed, but residents can contact 905-877-1133 for nonemergencies and general inquiries. For emergencies, residents should call 911.
