HRPS Arrest Two in Milton Shooting

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested two suspects in following a shooting February 1 in Milton that left one victim with “life altering injuries.”

28 year old Kyrie Lansford McKay of Milton has been charged with:

  • Attempt to commit murder using a restricted firearm or prohibited firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for Dangerous Purpose

22 year old Aekwon Stailuv Murray of Toronto has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime
  • Unauthorized possession of a Firearm (two counts)
  • Knowledge of Unauthorize Possession of a Weapon

Police recovered a 9mm handgun, and .40 caliber handgun at the scene.  Two vehicles said to be involved in the shooting were also recovered.  Police believe that all parties involved in this incident are known to each other.  They consider this to be an ongoing investigation, and anticipate further charges.
