HRPS Investigating Early Morning Stabbing

Halton Regional Police officers are investigating an early morning altercation at  McCraney Street in which one individual received a stab wound.

One person was injured as a result of the incident and has been transported to hospital with what is believed to be non life threatening injuries. This appears to be a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety. Officers will continue to be in the area throughout the day investigating the incident.

Police invite anyone who has information, or an eye witness account to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2215 or ext. 2216. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers. at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca
