HRPS Seeking Motorbike, Rider in May 29 crash

Halton Regional Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying the motorcycle and rider that were indirectly involved in the collision on Britannia Road west of Fifth Line in the Town of Milton on Monday May 29th at approximately 3:30 pm.

The motorcycle is being described as an enduro-style dirt bike that had yellow and possibly blue in its colour scheme.  The rider of the dirt bike had on motocross equipment including boots, a chest protector, and a motocross style helmet.

Prior to the collision, the rider was observed on Fifth Line near the site of the tunneling construction attempting to access a gated field.

The crash happened when the 51-year old driver, lost control of his car; a dodge viper.  According to police, he suffered serious injuries, and was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital via air ambulance.   He is reportedly in stable condition.  The investigation is now being conduction by Halton Police’s Collision Reconstruction unit.
