Martindale Gardens Retirement Residence is wishing Mayor Krantz well on his 40th anniversary in office.  Krantz was sworn in on December 1, 1980 as Mayor.

“Mayor Krantz was instrumental in getting Martindale Gardens off the ground 16 years ago and continues to provide significant support to the residence,” Retirement Counsellor at Martindale Gardens Jessie Warrington said in a news release. Krantz has been present for many milestones from its opening in 2004, to its fifteenth anniversary.

“On behalf of all of us at Martindale Gardens, we thank him and congratulate him on his years of service, Warrington added.  Krantz even joined them at an ice cream social this past summer to lift the spirits of Martindale Gardens.

Krantz has presided over Milton’s growth from rural community into one of the fastest growing municipalities in North  America.
