Residents can look forward to many activities, including skating, swimming, and various sports and fitness programs, which will be hosted at the Town’s esteemed recreation centers.

At the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, families can drop in for pickleball, badminton, and volleyball sessions. Pre-registration is encouraged due to limited space availability.

Meanwhile, the Milton Sports Centre will offer free public skating sessions sponsored by Tim Hortons and Roach Real Estate. Additionally, families can enjoy various sports and fitness activities such as basketball, dodgeball, and soccer throughout the day, with a particular Family Zumba class at noon.

The day’s festivities continue with fun swims and Stick ‘N Puck sessions, where regular admission fees apply, and pre-registration is recommended due to space limitations.

The Preschool Activity Room will host free drop-in activities for the little ones. In contrast, a sensory-friendly drop-in session will provide a calming environment with quiet music and sensory crafts.

Families can enjoy free public skating sessions, fun swims, and Stick ‘N Puck activities at the Sherwood Community Centre, with pre-registration encouraged to secure a spot.

Moreover, a family-friendly craft session will be available in three 60-minute sessions throughout the day, offering free admission with no pre-registration required, although space is limited.

With such an extensive lineup of activities, the Town of Milton is set to make this Family Day a memorable and enjoyable experience for all its residents.
