The Town of Milton Council will review the 2025 capital and operating budgets at a meeting scheduled for Dec. 2, 2024.

The proposed budget was prepared to align with the Council’s requested budget direction and supports the five themes outlined in the town’s strategic plan: investing in people, innovating in technology and process, enhancing quality facilities and amenities, improving transit and mobility, and planning for community growth.

The annual budget process allows the Council to balance resources with the Town’s priorities and ensure the delivery of essential services to the community.

Milton residents and business owners are invited to participate in the budget process. By completing a delegate request form by noon on Nov. 28, 2024, they can learn more about the 2025 budget highlights online, submit comments for consideration, or register to speak at the Dec. 2 meeting.

Community members can also attend the meeting in person or watch the live webcast to stay informed about the decisions shaping Milton’s future.
