The Milton Film Festival (MFF) has announced the 2022 feature film lineup. 14 films will be screen beginning January 29, 2022 with nine films being made available on a virtual basis.
The lineup highlights include:
- Spencer- featuring Kirsten Stewart as Princess Diana
- Julia- A documentary about the life of Julia Child
- The Rescue- A 2018 Documentary on the efforts to free a Thai Boys’ soccer team from an underwater
- German Sci-Fi hit I’m Your Man starring Dan Stevens; best known as Matthew from Downton Abbey.
- Night Raiders- an Indigenous-Canadian dystopian thriller starring Elle-Maija Tailfeathers and Amanda Plummer
- Mass- A drama centred on two families coping with tragedy tarring Ann Dowd
- The Middle Man- A Canada-Norway co-production starring Paul Gross and Pal Sverre Hagen. This is described as a dark comedy.
- Delicieux- A French comedy taking place in pre-Revolutionary France about a disgraced chef trying to start the country’s first restaurant.
Five in-person screenings will be held at the John Elliott Theatre in Georgetown Ontario. Organizers will shortly announce which ones will be screening there, as well as the lineup of short-films. For more information on the movies visit the website
