The third floor of Milton Legion is known as Remembrance Hall. It houses artefacts and items marking the town’s contributions to Canada’s war efforts. Plans are underway to revitalize the area. On February 25, members of the Legion visited Milton mall, and set up a display.
The museum will be organized into three phases. The first focusing on World War I will be open in April to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The second phase will be focusing on W.W. II. The final phase will detail Canada’s involvement in Korea, as well as the peacekeeping missions.
