Milton Public Library (MPL) is returning its highly anticipated annual book sale, featuring thousands of pre-loved books and media at unbeatable prices. The sale will run from November 9 to 15 (or until supplies last) at the Main Library, located at 1010 Main St. East, in the Teal Room. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

With over 9,000 titles spanning genres like fiction, non-fiction, and children’s literature, there’s something for everyone. The sale includes DVDs, audiobooks, and other media items priced to sell alongside books. Books are available for $2 each, while CDs and DVDs are priced at just $1. For even more significant savings, patrons can fill an entire box for $10 or an MPL tote bag for $15.

Amid rising costs, the sale offers an affordable way for families and individuals to stock up on books and entertainment, whether building a personal library or shopping for holiday gifts. Purchases can be made with cash, debit, or credit, and all proceeds support MPL’s programs and services.

Proceeds from the sale go directly to support MPL’s community programs and services, including early literacy initiatives, technology workshops, cultural events, and newcomer services. Every purchase helps MPL continue its mission of enriching the lives of Milton residents.

“Our Annual Book Sale is one of the many ways MPL fosters community spirit,” said Sarah Douglas-Murray, CEO of Milton Public Library.

“This event is perfect for readers of all ages and interests, so bring your family, friends, and book lovers alike.”

The Milton Public Library serves one of North America’s fastest-growing communities and operates through three branches — Main, Beaty, and Sherwood — as well as online at www.beinspired.ca.
