Multiple Charges Laid in Relation to Break and Enters and Vehicle Thefts in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a suspect in relation to a series of night time break and enters and high-end auto thefts that occurred in the summer and fall of 2021 in Oakville.

The same suspect was also identified as being responsible for four additional night time break and enters and the theft of a vehicle in 2022.
The suspect was located and arrested by HRPS officers at a hotel in Mississauga. A known associate of the suspect was also arrested at that time.
During the arrest, the suspects were jointly in possession of a stolen Ford truck. Each suspect also possessed a loaded firearm.
Deshaun Daley, 19, of Mississauga has been charged with at least seven counts of Break and Enter and Commit and eight counts of Theft of Motor Vehicle among many others.
Jaidyn Young, 22, of Mississauga has been charged with multiple offenses related to firearms and unauthorized possession.
