A 21-year-old Oakville man faces multiple charges following an investigation by the Halton Regional Police Service’s Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit into allegations of child luring that began in September 2024.
The investigation led to the arrest of Patrick McCash on Oct. 18. McCash has been charged with child luring, two counts of sexual assault, and two counts of sexual interference. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Halton police say investigators are concerned there may be other victims and have released a photo of McCash in connection with this investigation.
The Police have released a photo of the accused, expressing concerns that there may be additional victims. Investigators are urging anyone with information related to this case or who believes they may have been victimized by the accused to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit.
Police encourage victims of sexual assault to come forward, noting that there is no statute of limitations for reporting such incidents. Anyone with information or who may have been victimized by the accused is asked to contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or through their website at haltoncrimestoppers.ca.
