Optimist Club Donates to Food 4 Kids

The Optimist Club of Milton run a Cruise night in the Go Station parking lot every Sunday night during the summer.

The event includes a barbecue, door prizes, and a 50/50 draw.  They also use the event to give back to charity.  On July 15, they awarded a cheque for  to the Food 4 Kids.  Food 4 Kids is a charity dedicated to helping kids in Halton who are unable to access fresh food during the school year.  They are running a summer program where they help up to 20 families/ week.  For more information visit their website.   The Optimists also announced their next charity is the Pack A Bag For a Friend Foundation.  The Optimist Club of Milton run the Milton Cruise every Sunday night from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m.  at the Milton Go Station parking lot.  This year’s edition runs until September 2 weather permitting.
