Purina is donating thousands of pounds to animal shelters and rescues across Canada. Each organization will receive a minimum of three pallets of food or 10,000 bags of Purina Pro Plan.
National Service Dogs in Cambridge, Ontario is getting 8,950 kg of food. The organization has bred and trained dogs for children with autism, as well as starting programs for Certified Service Dogs for PTSD, Canine Assisted Intervention and Companion Dogs.
Other organizations benefitting include the Toronto Humane Society, Georgian Triangle Humane Society and PAWS of Georgina.
