Halton police have arrested and charged Huddy Conserve, 36, of Quebec, in connection with a sex trafficking investigation involving an adult female victim.

Police began investigating a report in December 2024 that the victim was allegedly trafficked in the Greater Toronto Area. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Human Trafficking Unit determined that over four months, the suspect allegedly coerced, controlled, and exploited the victim in the sex trade while profiting financially.

Conserve was arrested on Jan. 4, 2025, and faces multiple charges, including trafficking in persons, receiving material benefit from trafficking in persons, receiving material benefit from the sale of sexual services, advertising sexual services, procuring by exercising control, assault, and failing to comply with a probation order. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims. They noted that Conserve often uses the aliases “H Mafia” and “Christopher Deltor.”

Commenting on 2024 human trafficking statistics, Const. Jeff Dillon, the police’s media relations officer, said: “Statistics for 2024 are being compiled for inclusion in our 2024 annual report.”

When asked about efforts to identify additional victims, Dillon said: “We, along with all police services, participate in public awareness campaigns shared through various media outlets and platforms. Our Human Trafficking Unit also works to identify potential victims through investigative means.”

Regarding potential further victims linked to the suspect, Dillon said: “The charges are before the courts, and to protect the victim’s identity, we cannot comment further.”
