RONA is steadfast in its transition plan to assert itself as the premier leader in the Canadian home improvement domain. It is a prominent figure in Canada’s home improvement retail sector, with approximately 425 corporate and affiliated stores under various banners.
The organization is pleased to announce its latest move in this strategic overhaul – converting Lowe’s stores in Milton and Burlington into the all-new RONA+ banner. This transformation is set to unfold in the coming weeks, aligning with a nationwide initiative launched last June. As part of this endeavour, Lowe’s stores throughout Canada will progressively transition into RONA outlets, an iconic brand rooted in Canadian history since its establishment in Québec in 1939.
The RONA+ stores are poised to provide customers with an enriched shopping experience. This will be made possible through an impressive and stylish assortment of products from trusted Canadian brands, flexible credit options, exclusive VIPpro benefits tailored to contractors and home improvement professionals, and competitive pricing on many products.
Andrew Iacobucci, President and CEO of RONA Inc., shared his insights, stating, “This marks a significant milestone in RONA’s journey into the future. The conversion of Lowe’s stores signifies a substantial investment and an unwavering commitment to the RONA brand.
“For nearly 85 years, RONA has been synonymous with excellence in home improvement in Canada, epitomizing exceptional service, exciting product offerings, great value, and a profound sense of community. Our aim is to build upon this legacy and generate fresh momentum for this cherished Canadian brand.”
