Shots Fired: Maple & Main St. Milton

Halton Police Service (HRPS) is  responding to a call of shots fired near 1487 Maple Ave.  HRPS confirm via their twitter feed that one victim has been taken to hospital.  They are asking for anyone who was in the area between 2:40 and 3 p.m. who have dash cam video to contact Halton police at: 905-825-4747.

Police ask anyone who may have witnessed interactions in the area between 2:40 pm. and 3 p.m. to contact the police at: 905-825-4747 or 905-825-4777.  There is a heavy police presence in the area.

Update: No Suspect Identified, Police Appeal for Information

The victim has been identified as a 20 year old male who is described as being in critical but stable condition.  No suspect has been identified at this time.  “There is no known, ongoing, related threat to public safety at this time,”

Update: 1/2/2019:  10:10 pm- Area Clear

HRPS has officially cleared the area around 1487 Maple.  Residents who were previously unable to access their cars, may now return.
