St. Paul’s United Church invites Milton Residents to Easter Service

By: Laura Steiner

St Paul’s United Church is inviting all Milton residents celebrating Easter to its Easter Sunday  service.

The move is in recognition of the fact that COVID19 has altered plans to mark the holiday based on the province’s colour-coded framework.  Halton has been designated red, which, restricts religious services to 30% capacity indoors.

“We don’t know the full extent of the pain that the global COVID-19 pandemic has caused in our community, but, we are seeing it in our neighbourhoods, and our streets,” Interim Reverend John Smith said.

The Easter Sunday service is approximately 1 hour in length, and includes readings, as well as a message from Reverend Smith.  St Paul’s has been recording their weekly services on YouTube, and are accessible through their website.
