The Town of Milton continues treatments on the Emerald Ash borer. Beginning August 8, contractors will be inject approximately 250 trees with an insecticide TreeAzin in order to help preserve the life of the trees. Treaeazin is made from the Neem Tree extracts and not harmful to humans, or animals.
Areas targeted for treatment include: Laurier Ave, Rotary Park, Town Hall, and Ruhl Drive. Trees are marked with green dots are being treated. Those with white dots will be removed. The treatment will be repeated next year, and their health evaluated.
