The SIU asks anyone with information on this incident to contact the lead investigator at: 1-800-787-8529.   Anyone with video on the incident is asked to upload to the SIU’s website.

Update: 24/9/2018: One Officer Released from Hospital

HRPS released an update on the injured officers.  One has been released from hospital, and they expect the other to be released in the coming days.

Police Chief Stephen Tanner says his force is grateful for the support given by the community.  “The outpouring of support and concern for all of the men and women who serve the community of Halton has been overwhelming.  Please know that we hear you, and we can’t thank you enough,” he said.
