The Halton Police are currently investigating a vehicle fire incident that took place in the early hours of November 3, 2023. At approximately 2:00 a.m., law enforcement officers responded to a residence near Trafalgar Road and 15 Side Road following alarming reports of a vehicle engulfed in flames.
Swift action by the Halton Hills Fire Department prevented the fire from spreading beyond the vehicle, successfully extinguishing the blaze.
During their investigation at the scene, authorities discovered shell casings and multiple bullet holes on the torched vehicle. Intriguingly, no individuals were found within the vehicle, and there have been no reports of injuries related to the incident. Law enforcement officers suspect that this event was a targeted occurrence. At this point, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Citizens with any information related to this incident are urged to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau to assist in resolving this case.
