The Town of Milton has launched a Holiday Guide, highlighting festive community events, seasonal programs, activities, and unique gift-giving ideas. The goal of the guide is to keep the community informed, active and entertained this holiday season.
The Holiday Guide includes a calendar of community events guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit, and is a great resource to help you plan fun-filled activities for the whole family. Additionally, a full list of Milton Centre for the Arts performances are featured if you are looking to celebrate the season with a night out.
Seasonal children’s activities include ‘Morning with Santa’ and ‘Art Famjam: Holiday Ornaments.’ Parents can also register children for the ‘Holiday Shop & Drop,’ where kids will be treated to hot chocolate and holiday crafts while parents finish up their last minute holiday shopping.
A variety of day camps are running to keep children busy, including ‘Festive Fun’ as well as the ‘Get on the Track’ program, a unique opportunity to try track cycling at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. The Holiday Guide also features up to date drop-in schedules, including free skating, sponsored by Tim Hortons, as well as fitness, sport and swim times.
Shopping for a unique gift? Give an experience. Town of Milton gift certificates can be purchased for a variety of recreation and arts programs as well as events, and are the perfect fit for all ages. Milton Transit tickets and passes are also available and make a great stocking stuffer. Gift certificates are available at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, Milton Centre for the Arts, Milton Leisure Centre, Milton Sports Centre or Town Hall.
