Hockey Canada has named its 23-member women’s squad for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in China, starting next month.
In Beijing, the women’s hockey tournament will take place Feb. 2-16 at the National Indoor Stadium and Wukesong Sports Centre. Canada will aim for its fifth gold medal overall and first since 2014 when it opens preliminary-round action against Switzerland on Feb. 3.
The Canadian team includes six players who won gold at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and eight members of the team which claimed silver in Pyeongchang four years later.

The women’s hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Games begins in the Chinese capital on Feb. 3.
The women’s ice hockey tournament at Beijing 2022 is due to take place at the National Indoor Stadium and Wukesong Sports Centre from February 2 – two days before the Opening Ceremony – to 16.
