Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Milton. Precipitation is expected to start near 12pm EST lasting for several hours before it changes to rain. Roads, walkways and parking lots could become slippery, and closures may be possible. Ice buildup on branches may cause utility outages. Halton District School Board has cancelled all buses. Schools remain open accept for Brookville, Limehouse, Stewarttown, Pineview, and Killbride where the majority of students are bussed in. Halton Catholic District School Board has also cancelled buses, but their schools remain open.
