HRPS Charges 4 with Impaired Driving

On October 9, 2020, just before 8:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of McGilvray Crescent and Delrex Boulevard in Georgetown. As a result of an investigation, Ashley Koenigsberger (31) of Georgetown was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On October 9, 2020, just before 11:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Church Street East and John Street South in Acton. As a result of an investigation, Trevor Wells (24) of Acton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 10, 2020, just before 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. initiative in the area of Trafalgar Road and Cornwall Road in Oakville. As a result of this initiative, Sahar Qaedizadeh (44) of North York was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On October 11, 2020, just after 3:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Upper Middle Road and Bronte Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Bailey Price (19) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
