Milton Fire Department Asks Residents to #PrepareYourSelfie for Emergencies

The Milton Fire Department is issuing a challenge to all residents to create a “selfie” to show how they’re prepared for an emergency and share it on social media @townofmilton, using the hashtag #PrepareYourSelfie.

This challenge is to create awareness about safety during Emergency Preparedness Week in Canada, which takes place May 7 to 13. The selfie should show how you’re prepared for an emergency by creating a plan and practising it or building a kit and sharing on social media @townofmilton using #PrepareYourSelfie.

You could win a prize of an emergency preparedness backpack kit for sharing. Challenging family, friends and colleagues to participate is also encouraged! For more information on Emergency Preparedness visit their website.
