A Milton neighbourhood ranks among the top 25 for COVID-19 positivity rate. Residences with the postal code beginning with L9E recorded a positivity rate of 13.4% according to the ICE/ES COVID-19 dashboard.
The neighbourhood is in the Bronte, and Britannia Rd area. The percentage rate is calculated based on how many residents tested positive over a seven-day period. 13.4% is more than four times higher than today’s provincial rate of 3.3, and three times more than Halton Region at 4.5%.
Ontario this morning recorded an increase of 2.417 new cases of COVID-19, and an additional 50 deaths. Saturday, Halton recorded an increase of 84 cases, with 13 coming from Milton.
