The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) called a day of action May 15 to raise awareness of Russia’s war in Ukraine. They held numerous rallies throughout the GTA including one outside Milton Town Hall. It was important for the community to show its support through signs, and speeches. The Ukrainian flag was raised outside Town Hall.
6.1 million refugees have left Ukraine country, while 7.7 million have been displaced within the country. For more information on how to help please visit the UCC’s website
