Ontario is opening select childcare centres for first responders in the COVID-19 outbreak. The announcement was made by Education Minister Stephen Lecce. One of the daycares re-opened is Milton’s Location of Wee Watch.
“We know that as health-care and other front-line workers try to keep us safe, they could use help on the home front,” said Milton MPP Parm Gill.
Schools, and daycare centres will remain closed until May 1, 2020. “Our frontline workers will have access to safe, local child care centres, making it easier for health care and other front line workers to do their jobs,” Lecce said.
