Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Theft from Motor Vehicle Suspect

The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles that occurred in the area of Scott Boulevard and Derry Road in Milton in the early morning hours of February 19, 2017. A lone male suspect was observed on video surveillance entering numerous unlocked vehicles during this time.

The suspect is described as male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’8″-5’11″ tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue back pack, black hooded sweater under a black jacket, black track pants with three white stripes, and black shoes with a Nike-style checkmark on them.

Residents are advised to be proactive when it comes to their personal safety by removing valuables from their vehicles and always locking them. Other prevention tips include installing motion-activated outdoor lights and audible car alarms.
