Suspect arrested in Burlington gunshots incident

Halton Police have arrested one person who had allegedly fired aerial shots after an altercation in Burlington. 

The incident that happened earlier this month in Port House Social Bar and Kitchen in Lakeshore Road area, saw no one being physically injured.

The suspect, identified as Bashdar Kader, 23, had fired five to six shots in the air and had fled the scene.

Investigators from the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau were able to identify the suspect and subsequently, a search warrant was issued and executed, resulting in the arrest. 

Mr Kader has been charged with four offenses related to firearms. 

The firearm utilized by the accused has not been recovered.
