Milton is an ideal staycation destination this March Break with a variety of activities to keep the whole family busy and entertained.
Keep the kids active with drop-in programs such as skating, sports and fitness, or take a free dip in the pool at one of the Tim Horton’s sponsored all ages swims. If you’re looking to keep the kids engaged the Town is offering a variety of workshops that include everything from Slime Making and Eco Science to Graffiti Poke-Art. For parents still looking for a last minute child-care option, space is still available in the week-long March Mania Multi-Sport Camp and Sew Cool Camp. To register for camps or workshops visit www.milton.ca/programs.
If it’s entertainment you’re looking for, the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton has performances for the whole family. Check out the family magic show Outerbridge: Clockwork Mysteries. This show takes audiences on a magical journey through time from the first breathtaking illusion to the spectacular finale. For the parents, consider a night out with the rock legend Tom Cochrane along with Red Rider, or enjoy a girl’s night out at Wannabe, a tribute to the English girl super-group the Spice Girls.
With so many options, it’s clear that Milton is a great staycation destination. For details and a full schedule of activities visit www.milton.ca/marchbreak.
