This year’s Earth Day theme is “Restore Our Earth.” The Town of Milton is marking it by planting over 600 potted trees with its partners at Sustainable Milton, and Conservation Halton. This is in addition to the 731 trees being planted in streetscapes and parks.
The Town encourages residents to participate in these COVID-safe ways:
- Make an environmentally-friendly window sign sharing this year’s Earth Day theme #RestoreOurEarth
- Complete Milton’s Earth Day scavenger hunt
- Use reusable bags and utensils
- Cook a plant-based meal
- Ride a bike
- Use a reusable water bottle
- Save electricity and turn off lights when you leave a room
