Susan Doyle has been named the Ontario Green Party candidate for Milton in the upcoming provincial election.
Doyle, the CEO of a provincial eco-education non-profit, has dedicated her career to connecting children with nature. With a Master’s degree in Social Work and significant experience in non-profit leadership, policy development, and inclusive governance, Doyle says she is ready to bring her expertise to Queen’s Park.
“I am ready to stand up for our communities in Milton,” Doyle said in a statement.
“I am committed to bringing integrity and collaboration to Queen’s Park to ensure sustainable, equitable policies that truly work for you.”
Ontario Green Party leader Mike Schreiner praised Doyle’s candidacy, highlighting her focus on affordability and social equity.
“Susan is committed to making housing more affordable, speaking up against Doug Ford’s privatization agenda, and reversing the damage he’s done to our health care system and our food and farming industries,” Schreiner said.
“While Doug Ford focuses on helping billionaires, Susan’s committed to addressing the needs of people in Milton.”
Doyle, a mother of three, is active in her community as a school council volunteer and a supporter of local sports initiatives. She emphasized her passion for creating sustainable and inclusive policies that reflect the needs of Milton residents.
The Ontario Greens aim to gain traction in the traditionally conservative riding by focusing on issues such as affordable housing, climate action, and public health care.
