Residents looking to hit the ice during the winter break will have plenty of opportunities with the Town of Halton Hills holiday skating schedule.
The town will be hosting a variety of public skating sessions in Georgetown and Acton throughout the remainder of the Christmas break.
Admission for these sessions is $4 for adults and $2.50 for anyone 17 or under.
Here is the schedule for the skating sessions at Mold-Masters SportsPlex (221 Guelph St., Georgetown) and the Acton Arena (415 Queen St.):
Mold-Masters SportsPlex
Public skating: Dec. 27 from 7:45 to 9:05 p.m. and Dec. 28 from noon to 1:20 p.m.
Family skating: Dec. 27 from 3 to 4:20 p.m. and Dec. 28 from 2:15 to 3:35 p.m.
Adult skating: Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Parent and tot skating: Dec. 29 from 1 to 1:50 p.m. and Dec. 30 from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m.
Acton Arena
Public skating: Dec. 27 from 2 to 3:20 p.m. and 7 to 8:20 p.m.; Dec. 28 from 3 to 4:20 p.m.; Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 from 2 to 3:20 p.m.; Jan. 2, 2026, from 7 to 8:20 p.m.; Jan. 3, 2026, from 2 to 3:20 p.m.; and Jan. 4, 2026, from 3 to 4:20 p.m.
Family skating on the leisure pad: Dec. 27 from 2 to 3:20 p.m.; Dec. 28 from 3 to 4:20 p.m.; and Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 from 2 to 3:20 p.m.; Jan. 2, 2026, from 7 to 8:20 p.m.; Jan. 3, 2026, from 2 to 3:20 p.m.; and Jan. 4, 2026, from 3 to 4:20 p.m.
Adult skating: Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Parent and tot skating: Dec. 29 from 1 to 1:50 p.m.; Dec. 30 from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m.; and Jan. 3, 2026, from 9:45 to 11:05 a.m.
